My sister Kia and my nephews need your help. Two years ago, her abusive and unstable ex took their two boys for Thanksgiving and then refused to return them home. When she called the police, he responded by reporting her, her oldest son, and her amazing boyfriend for sexual abuse. This was a false allegation by a vindictive man who wanted to destroy my sister. We never thought she would spend the next two years and hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting for her freedom. She has now been fully vindicated as even the prosecutors came to believe what we knew all along, that these accusations were 100% false. In the process she was locked up in jail, lost a career she worked hard for, and most importantly has not seen her boys. With the criminal case over, our family is turning our attention to family court to save these boys. It will be a long process and they will need a lot of therapy, love and support to undo the damage. But if I know one thing about my sister, she is a resilient fighter and mom who will never give up on her boys or the truth.
