Mom Fighting Stage 4 Lung Cancer
Hi, my name is Wanda Vue, I am writing on behalf of one of the strongest people I know, my momma. My family’s life has change rapidly in the last 2 months. In June, my mother Se Vue went to the ER for chest pain, which was later diagnosed as cancer. After weeks of waiting on test results and labs, the oncologist diagnosed her with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. It has been mentally, emotionally, and physically draining for our whole family in dealing with this.
Recent MRI results showed that the cancer have spread to her bones. The doctor will only treat my mother for her pain, but nothing else. As a last resort, we are taking my mom to the Utopia Wellness Center in Florida. This wellness center takes on a holistic healing approach to heal cancer patients.
This funding will cover all her treatments and lodging. Based on consultation with the wellness center, the cost will range from $4250-5250 per week depending on the kind of therapies she may need. The hope is to get her body to become a strong cancer fighting machine.
Due to the urgent nature of her situation and little time for preparation, my siblings and I are reaching out to family and friends for support. Anyone who has met my mom knows how kind her heart is; she has always put her needs last. We want to put her first this time. She is in high spirit and she is a fighter. She isn’t giving up and we won’t give up on her either. Our family is forever grateful for your support.
