Hi, my name is Kyle Webber from Seattle Washington,

im making this go fund me for two close friends of mine who are homeless, I’m keeping their personal information private out of respect for them not wanting their struggles and faces all over the internet.

here is their situation from their own words:

We are trying to raise enough to get back to the Pacific Northwest from Florida, and start rebuilding our lives and regaining stability, after a difficult period we were left without stable housing due to the rent being raised. We tried to keep up with it but it was just no longer possible.

We have been in a motel since and it is no longer possible to upkeep/maintain a hotel any longer. We have found a car but we have to wait for it to be fixed and we have to try to get new tires which we are figuring out.

We have been stranded across the country for 7 months now.

It is very hot and humid out here, we simply will not survive on the streets with the cat.

One of us is also physically disabled, so Walking and day to day parts of his routine he needs help with because he’s constantly in extreme pain.

The humidity is high every single day, the resources in this state are next to none and that is terrifying.

We have done everything we could and it is still not enough.

We have done the math and have an estimate for gas money, we would have been willing to take a plane or a bus back but we do have a 7 year old cat which is basically our emotional support animal.

he gets stressed induced bladder flair ups, he recently underwent PU surgery for it, so we have to do this in a way which is going to be most comfortable for him.

the surgery was life saving, but even though it saved his life - stress can still can cause flareups which are painful, expensive, dangerous, and may require hospital care which we cannot afford right now.

Going by car would allow us to stop when needed for him which is very essential! The goal is to keep everyone together, getting rid of the cat to make things “easier” is not an option he is incredibly bonded and separation would just stress him out.

Back home in the pnw, we have job opportunities, a support system, place to go, and stability waiting for us instead of wondering if we’re going to eat today or if tomorrow is finally the day we have to sleep outside.

We are more than willing to post gas receipts and updates along our journey back!

Just in case we do have to rent a car if the car we are getting doesn’t make it, we have the goal set to a little higher in order to cover the costs!
