I’m reaching out for support for my friend who is currently in the ICU fighting life-threatening injuries. My dear friend has been in a tragic accident. Her parents are currently out here from Manitoba but will not be able to stay longterm.


On Tuesday, September 1st, in the morning a motorcycle struck a bus. Unfortunately, the driver was unable to make it but my friend is holding on for her life.


Here’s the extent of her injuries.

Fracture at C1 (stable)

Broke right leg(femur)

Broke left & right forearms

Both wrists

Right hand

Left collarbone (as of right now there is something in there causing her to have no sensitivity to her left arm/hand)

Some ribs(both sides)

Left cheekbone and eye area.

Still in ICU on ventilator and sedated (Day 11)

It will be months for recovery/rehab not sure if some injuries are permanent.

Her monthly expenses for rent/internet/phone/hydro are $1400 a month.


She is a wonderful, kind-hearted person who always helps people out in need. She will be in recovery for a very long time. Please if you can support her at all it would mean the world.
