Help my friend fulfill one last wish

My name is Shelleyrae. My dear friend has just been hit with the news that her husband of 33years has six months to live. The cover picture is of Patti & Richard in Sep 2021. Celebrating their 33yr wedding anniversary, smiling, happy, no idea what the next two months would bring their way. The first week of Nov. they were told the horrible news that he had some questionable masses that needed to be looked at closer. In the weeks to follow and a series of tests and Dr appointments the news kept coming back sad and awful. He has three tumors, surgery is not an option. He has AFIB and his health is not good enough for surgery. Although he has some other ailments, none of which are killing him. This is the worst possible news. Yesterday, she got the most dreaded call of all. The Dr called to confirm that it is stage 4 and terminal. With no chemotherapy he has been given six months. With chemotherapy the estimate is eight months possibly up to two years. Two years sounds nice but the reality is that is best case scenario and that there is no way to know how much if that time is quality life or just existing and existing being physically sick day in and day out, not being able to leave the house, loosing his hair, having hallucinations, the list goes on. An impossible choice! So Patti asked Richard, if this is our new reality, is there anything you want to do or anywhere you want to go. He answered with Maui! I would just love to go back to Maui one more time in my life. It’s also the place where he wants his ashes spread after he passes on. I want to help make this last wish of his to become reality. We have the condo donated so I’m hoping to raise enough to pay for the remainder of the trip. Thank you for finding it in your heart to help a person you do not know, to give some happiness and peace to a man that would give you the shirt off his back, and his wife that just wants her true love to find peace and joy in what time he has left on this earth. I felt weird doing this, asking people to help by giving money but if we don’t show kindness and help when we can then what does that say about us as humans. I can only give you my word that myself and Patti will pay forward the kindness shown to us know.
