My three-year-old French bulldog has always been a joyful and loving companion, but a few months ago, he started suffering from severe skin and allergy problems. Wanting the best for him, I reached out to a woman on Instagram who claimed to specialize in helping Frenchies and bulldogs with these exact issues. She had a long list of services, references, and said she’d been in the business for over ten years, so I trusted her to help my dog heal.

What was supposed to be a short, 20-day treatment turned into a nightmare. The woman disappeared with my dog for three months. After a long and stressful search, I finally tracked her down and got my dog back—only to find him in a heartbreaking state. He was severely underweight, his skin condition had spread all over his body, and he had lost almost all his fur. He was so drugged and weak that he could barely walk. I rushed him to the vet, where they told me he was lucky to be alive and that his organs were still functioning.

I am a single mother, and at the time all of this happened, I was in the process of moving. I have spent my entire savings on emergency vet care to save my dog's life, and now I am struggling to secure an apartment for myself and my child. My dog now needs ongoing treatment, including prescription food, special shampoos, and skin products to help him recover. We are also working with animal control and the police to get this woman shut down so no other pets or families have to go through this.
