Help My Family Survive Maria

On September 18, 2017, Hurricane Maria hit our island Dominica as a category 5 hurricane damaging, as the island's Prime Minister called it, "Everything that money can buy." Unfortunately, our 90-year-old mother and several other family members live on the island. Moreover, we have family members in St Croix and St John USVI who have experienced devastations from both Hurricane Irma and Maria and are in survival mode. Thank goodness that they are alive even after such  devastating storms, but struggling to survive with no water, electricity, and a shortage of food and supplies.

We need your help to meet our goal of $50,000.00 that will help us take care of our family members in this terrible time of survival. The funds will be used to provide the necessary resources for life that they so deeply need: food, water, and supplies. Several institutions have mobilized to provide resources to the people of the island, but no one knows who will really get those resources. We are determined to see that our family members are not left without the most important necessities to live another day and build back the life they know on this once beautiful island.

We are asking for your kind-heartfelt donation to help us help those whom we truly love and call family. All funds received will be used solely for disaster relief and recovery of our family members who have been affected by the recent hurricanes.  We want to make sure that they have the necessary resources to recover from the devastating events that they have experienced.
