My life changed dramatically after COVID left me with severe health challenges. I’m currently living in a skilled nursing facility, slowly losing movement from my feet upward. Now, I’m paralyzed from the waist down and rely on a wheelchair. My lungs have lost nearly 40% of their function, so I need oxygen support for the rest of my life. Because of these health issues, I can’t work, and my family is struggling to get by. My wife and three kids are homeless, moving from couch to couch, and currently staying in my mother-in-law’s basement. The little income I have barely covers our car payment, insurance, cell service, and the most basic needs for my family and my medical expenses.
I’m reaching out for help so my family and I can have a better future together. Your support would help us pay off our vehicle, purchase a wheelchair that lets me join my kids outdoors, and add a trailer hitch and carrier so I can bring my wheelchair along when we go out as a family. Most importantly, we hope to find a wheelchair-accessible home where we can all be together again.
Any support—whether it’s a donation, sharing my story, or words of encouragement—means the world to us. Thank you for helping my family and me during this difficult time.
