Help my family after they lose their dad to cancer

Hi There, my name is David and I'm fundraising for my young family to protect their future after I pass away from terminal cancer.

 

Terminal diagnosis with less than 12 months left to live

Yes, cancer. It was later last year, October 2020 that I was diagnosed out of the blue with terminal lung cancer. The fastest growing and most aggressive form too. Now I'm sure every diagnosis is a shock but this particularly so since I've never smoked.

 

Terrified for my family 

So here I am in my late 40's with a wife and two small children and suddenly I find myself needing to ensure the mortgage is paid off and they are provided for in a short period of time. I am devastated and still struggling to come to terms with my diagnosis. But, most of all I am terrified for my family. 

We worked hard to win the mortgage and buy the home we have and now all that is at risk with me here in this situation. I find myself wanting to provide all they need without the luxury of the next 30 years of earnings to do that. 

Life will be more than hard enough for them when I'm gone but I really need your help to help my wife pay for the mortgage and keep a roof over their heads.

 

Life insurance won't payout

Why? The insult to injury here is my life insurance company has worked hard to find a way out of paying out. With a terminal diagnosis my policy should have paid out which would have paid the mortgage off and left enough for my funeral and maybe the odd bucket list item BUT they are refusing the pay. This has destroyed me at a time when I need to remain as positive as possible.

 

The funds we raise here will go towards paying the mortgage and removing that burden from my wife so she can concentrate on raising our children Edward and Isabella and helping them through their grief. Please help my family survive my cancer and keep a roof over their heads! I hope you can find it in your heart to help.
