Help fund nursing home care for my mother, Annie.

My 95 year old mother is suffering from dementia and can no longer remain in her shelterd housing flat in Glasgow.  The weekly cost of providing nursing care in a suitable care home is more than the local authority is able to contribute.  My mother only has her state pension, and no other means to meet the weekly cost difference of £400.  My income is insufficient to contribute, and so I am desperately seeking help, from any quarter, to provide my mother with the care and dignity that she now needs.   

Because we are living in such awful times, I find it embarrassing to ask for help, when everybody is struggling so much - but I had to  try.

Although I have asked for a small amount, it is obvious that more than this is required.   If you can help, then I would be grateful but, if  not, then I will take this opportunity to wish everyone, who reads this request, good health for the New Year and beyond.
