Help Mrs Emmanuel

Last week 90 year old Mrs Emannuel from North London did not feel that her back door lock was not secure enough. She found  a locksmith called BLAGA VEST on the Internet to come and install a new lock. The call out charge was quoted as from £49. The locksmith attended, changed the lock and the presented her with a £775 bill! This was broken down as £95 callout and £550 for the lock all plus vat. Astonishing as the lock can be purchased for as little as under £15 and can be fitted in under 10 minutes by a competent DIYer. When questioned the locksmith declared that they charge more for a for attending as they are a callout service. This explains the £95 but surely the lock costs the same no matter what. He refused any form of reduction  and hung up the phone. This man has clearly taken advantage of an elderly vulnerable pensioner and his behaviour is abhorrent. The aim here is to protect our elderly and try and raise the amount she was so disgustingly charged and if anyone feels they would like to joint the dozens of people shaming this company on Truspilot..even better.
