My mom recently experienced an accident that has turned our world upside down. On Wednesday night, August 14th, around 10 PM, my mother, who is 53 years old, was hit and ran over by a Blue Ford Truck (F150-F350) that struck her while she was crossing the road and then drove off, leaving her almost dead in the middle of the road. She was walking in the crosswalk as the truck took a right turn on a red light and hit her, knocking her over, and then proceeded to run her over with its rear tires. She’s always been the strongest person I know, but this event has left her facing a long road to recovery, both physically and financially. Between medical bills, therapy costs, and time away from work, we’re struggling to manage the overwhelming expenses.
