Help Moose See Mom

Hi,

My name is Moose Cooper. I am fundraising to help buy a plane ticket to see my mother. I haven't seen her in many years and missed my chance to before coming to Europe for a teaching job. Living and working in Europe is no luxury. I make enough to cover everything I need from month to month.

In January, 2021, my father passed away. Covid-19 was raging in the United States and in the city I was living in. It felt unsafe to travel and I missed the funeral. Having to grieve alone, on my own and under strict social restrictions was hard and in some parts I feel like I'm still grieving. The decision I came to was to wait to get vaccinated before I travel and I'm half way there. At the time of writing this, I do have my first shot and I hope by the time I make the flight, I would have had my second. I want to be as safe as I possibly can and to not bring the virus with me or back to Europe for work.
