Help Monster Heal: Support His ACL Surgery

A Highland Square favorite needs our help! Our friends and owners of our favorite coffee shop, Cafe Zuri, Mariana and Tomas, have the most loved, gentle giant and local celebrity pooch - Monster. Their 4-legged fur baby just turned four and sadly tore his ACL.

Unfortunately, our little (big) buddy doesn't have insurance. Fiona and I know how hard the surgery is both physically on her and financially on me. And knowing that, I couldn't help myself from wanting to help.

Here's some context: my dog, Fiona, and Monster grew up together in the West Highland neighborhood. We would see them out on walks, and Fiona and Monster became fast friends. On Saturday mornings, we walk down to Cafe Zuri, sometimes solo, sometimes with her pack. When Fiona had her 2 ACL surgeries, we couldn't go on our long Saturday morning coffee walks, and we were both sad to not see our friends. And now our friends need our help.

We're asking for $5,000 to cover his surgery.
