a TikTok page has been created to follow up on this poor family In order to see there current struggles that they go through everyday.

We have surpassed the 400 day mark on the aggression towards the Palestinian people in Gaza. Mohamed and his family have still managed to survive. The current food situation in Gaza has been a on going issue. Most families in Gaza relied on aid from the UNRWA and World food program prior to the war. Furthermore, with the continuation of the war, it has been a hardship to overcome. Food in the market have been extremely inflated surpassing our prices here in the States and countries around the world. For example:

1. Potatoes per kilo for 320 shekels = $87 2.Onions per kilo for 200 shekels = $55

3.Green pepper per kilo for 480 shekels

4. A kilo of small green lemons for 30 shekels 5. Flour for 450 shekels = $135

These prices change everyday depending on wether food is allowed to be entered by the Israelis.

Mohammed’s kids have underwent many traumatic events that no child should endure. Based off the story he has relayed to me, they all show signs of PTSD and other psychological issues that are undiagnosed but are apparent. With your help we can ease some of there suffrage, with the winter season upon us they could us some needed supplies.

furthermore, Mohammed wife has been diagnosed with a brain mass prior to the war. She was receiving treatment but unfortunately, the treatment has been halted since the beginning of the war. Her health is deteriorating rapidly, and without the proper medical care, who know how long she has. The hospitals here in Gaza are severely under-resourced, and the necessary treatments and medications are simply not available.

What is most heartbreaking is the impact on her children. If she loses her life, they will be left with no one to care for them. They would be forced to face a world where they have no support, no home, and no guidance. The thought of what they would go through without her is unimaginable, and it fills her heart with fear.

Her children, like many others in Gaza, need access to education and technology to build a future beyond this war. However, they do not have the means to provide them with laptops or even a reliable internet connection, further limiting their ability to continue their education. In such a difficult environment, the right to education has become a luxury, something we simply cannot afford, and she worries that this loss of opportunity will rob them of their future.

There situation is critical, and I cannot do this alone. I need help. They need the necessary medical treatment, access to education, and support to survive the daily hardships we are facing. This is a desperate plea for assistance, not just for them, but for all the families in Gaza who are fighting to survive under impossible circumstances. Without help, they may not make it through this crisis. I hope that the world will hear our cry and provide the support that is so urgently needed.

update 10/1/24:

currently in the Gaza Strip, the winter season has begun causing temperatures to drop and heavy rainfall. Mohammed’s family left all there belongs such as heavy blankets, jackets, cloths Etc. in their beloved home that was bombed. They had to leave all their belongings when they relocated to the safe zone in order to survive. With that begin said, they are currently in need of purchasing these essential items. With your donation, we can help this poor family survive the cold rainy winter season that they have come upon. Photos will be provided for any items purchased.

Hello, my name is Jehad Abuhamda. I’m an American/ Palestinian who is seeking for your support in helping me get a very close, family friend ( he is like a father to me ), and his family out of the Gaza Strip.

They consist of a Family of 7. Mohammed being the father and the provider of the family.

Since the attack on October 7th and the ensuing Israeli reprisals, their daily lives have slowly deteriorated. The entire area was hit, including their Apartment building , and by the grace of god, they managed to flee to the so called “safe zone” of Deir Al-Balah.

They have lost everything. Tens of thousands of people around them have died. In Deir Al-Balah, which is supposed to be a safe zone, they are under heavy bombardment. Like all survivors of this conflict, they face overwhelming hardships: lack of medical care, diseases, food shortages, and relentless bombing. From what my family friend (Mohammed) is telling me , the situation is worsening. Like you, I feel a deep sense of anger, sadness, and helplessness.

Due to the loss of their precious home, and residing in the unsafe zone of Gaza city.They were forced to relocate to Deir Al-Balah, as I stated previously, and are currently in a Tent.

Mohammed before the war, was a phone technician who lived a modest life. Since the war started, work in his field has been scarce. Yet he still tries to provide for his family by any means necessary. Due to these many hardships that he is facing and the loss of his home, he has decided that it Best for him and his family to relocate to another country (Egypt) and start a new life.

The money that will be donated will be for them to restart their life. From renting an apartment to cloths, food, schooling hopefully when they are able to register, appliances and basic furniture, website taxes and exchange rates. I very well understand that this is a large amount money, but together we can make it happen. Mohammed is a Phone technician as I had stated before, with many years of experience. He is very resilient will hopefully be a will hopefully be able to find a job easily in his new environment. Every share on the social networks ( Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) will bring us closer to helping this family out, even the smallest !
