Help Mira recover after her mom's loss

Julia and I have been close friends since the first grade, and despite currently living in different countries, we still remain good friends and stay in touch. On New Year's Eve 2020, Julia and I spoke on the phone for the first time since October 2020. During this conversation she shared the sad news of passing of our classmate, Anya Zubova. The three of us were good friends all throughout our years at School #6 in our hometown of Sumy, Ukraine. Me and Anya completely lost contact with each other after I moved to the U.S. but her and Julia remained close friends. Anya had no living relatives and was a single mother of an 8 year old girl Mira.
Anya suffered from a heart condition and shortly before her death, she asked Julia to take care of Mira when she dies. Knowing how poorly orphanages operate in Ukraine, Julia took Mira into her care with no hesitations although her own life situation was already difficult.
Julia has always lived in a small apartment with her elderly parents and her biological son. She has also been a single mother her entire life. Julia has worked as a music teacher in a small local school since graduating college. Despite being incredibly talented and loving her job, her teacher salary has never been enough to financially provide for her entire family.
Julia knew that caring for another child will be difficult both financially and emotionally but she still kept her promise to Anya and became Mira's legal guardian. Julia has always had a kind heart so her actions did not surprise me one bit.
Mira now lives in that same small apartment with Julia's elderly parents and biological son. Since Julia is now the only provider for Mira and her own family, she is struggling to pay for even basic necessities. She has been working very hard to help Mira adapt to her new home and emotionally recover from her mother's death.
I am so proud to call Julia my friend as she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I know she will continue being an amazing guardian to little Mira. I am asking for donations to help Julia provide for Mira and her family during these difficult times.
