A few months ago, our homeowners insurance company informed us that we needed to make some repairs or else they would drop our coverage. This is very serious because if we lose our homeowners insurance, we will most likely lose our house.
Michelle and I have tried to take care of everything. We've hired contractors and landscapers to fix the interior and exterior issues but we just discovered the damage to our chimney is so extensive, we will need to have it replaced. The best estimate to repair the chimney is $3,000 and that is with a contractor we trust. In our current financial state it might as well be $3,000,000.
The insurance company has offered us an extention until the end of April to finish the repairs, but that is not near enough time for us to gather the funds needed. The thought of losing our house is frightening to us and our furkids and we are out of options.
Because of this, we are reaching out for assistance. We are extremely grateful for any support towards this repair and helping us save our home.
