Hi everyone,
I recently started my Master’s program in Occupational Therapy at Florida Gulf Coast University, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey. Becoming an occupational therapist has been my dream for years, and I am grateful to finally be taking these steps toward helping others live healthier, more meaningful lives.
Due to the time constraints of this rigorous and accelerated pace program, I am not able to work right now. The coursework, research activities (including collecting data and writing research papers), upcoming fieldwork, and my responsibilities as Secretary of the Student Occupational Therapy Association require my full attention.
However, graduate school comes with a lot of expenses beyond tuition. I am also raising funds to help cover the cost of:
- Physical textbooks
- Background checks and fingerprinting required for fieldwork
- CPR certification and other training fees
- Extra support to keep afloat while I give my all to this program!
Any contribution, big or small, would mean so much to me as I continue this journey. If you aren’t able to give, sharing this page would be a huge help too. Thank you for supporting me and cheering me on as I work toward becoming an occupational therapist!
