Help Melissa, Christina Rebuild Destroyed Home

Hi, my name is Carla Zielinski and I am fundraising for my niece, Melissa Joy Ellerman and her partner Christina Dihenes. Melissa and Christina recently lost their home, their belongings and their three fur babies to a devastating fire.

As you can imagine, both women are overwhelmed and trying to process all that has happened. They are physically safe and staying in a hotel, and for that they are grateful. However, insurance won’t pay for a hotel room indefinitely.

At this point, Melissa and Christina need money for just about everything to start to rebuild and sustain their lives. They need to purchase clothing, to buy three meals each day, to pay for laundry facilities, to buy gas, to cover their lost work wages, and to just make it through what will be their daily lives, living in limbo for quite some time.

So, I’m asking you to consider helping Melissa and Christina by donating whatever amount you can. And please, keep healing thoughts coming in their direction, as they grieve the loss of their fur babies and of their home. Thank you.
