Help Meg get a mobility dog

Donation protected

I am not a "poor thing", I generally can live within the boundaries of my life.

I have NF, you're born with it. It causes tumors on big nerves. In my case, I have one tumor in my brain, that cost me an eye and a part of my skull. My fine motor skills are gone: printing is easier for me than joined-up letters. They tested me and found I'm learning disabled, but I still graduated college with a Psych degree.

In the past few years, I have developed frequent seizures. They happen when I'm stressed, they knock me out for many minutes, and there is a residual grogginess (like a boxer's knock out). Frequently I end up in the ER.

What would make a difference to me, is a mobility and seizure dog. S/he would help me walk, instead of the crutches I use now. And s/he would check on me for seizures, and push my emergency button if I didn't respond.

Thing is, mobility and seizure dogs are expensive to find and train: $6000. On a disability pension, that's impossible. I could never accumulate that amount. So, a gofundme page, maybe.
