!Help Me to Help Syrian Orphans!

Hello everyone,
My name is Halila and welcome to my first Go Fund Me page. Firstly, thank you for your time with opening this attachment and to reading my following story:-
As you are aware this war in Syria has been going on for too long, leaving any innocent survivors living in an unnecessary treacherous hell! I feel very strongly about this and learned through a friend who works with a charity called "Dental Mavericks" that they have now collaborated with the association "Spotlight" based in Lebanon who are looking for volunteers to offer help, support and comfort to some of the orphans who live there.
There are about 35 children in the orphanage aged between 4 and 15years old, with over 120 more children in waiting. The orphanage itself is in need of desperate works to help maintain a safe and functioning environment for the children to live in. It is quite derelict with poor electricity. They are desperately in need of beds, bedding, clothing and toys and so much more.!
As you can imagine the torture, pain and sadly some forms of sexual abuse that these children have experienced is unspeakable. Let alone the mental scars that have been left upon them after the loss of some or all of their entire family and friends leaving them with absolutely nothing.
As such, I have decided to volunteer at the orphanage for approximately two weeks in the capacity of an artist. I will be painting some murals in the communal living-room space and sleeping areas to brighten the sad, tired walls. Hopefully the results will bring some cheerfulness to the surroundings.
I will fly into Beirut towards end of April, then drive further into Lebanon, close to the Syrian border. From there the orphanage is about 10mins drive from the Syrian checkpoint.
In order to do this, I would need help towards my funding for my travel expenses and for the necessary supplies needed to create the painted murals. You’re support is crucial in making this happen!
