Please help me pay medical bills & living expenses

Hi, my name is Coni and I'm 65 years old. I have a severe case of Scoliosis that seemed to appear within a month or so when I turned 65! I was laid off in 2020 due to Covid and within a year I was diagnosed with this debilitating back condition. My ortho says if I don't have spinal surgery it will continue to get worse and I'll eventually need a wheelchair. My condition has gone from a scale 3 to 6 in 3 months. I'm too old to receive Disability and I get a monthly benefit of $1876 from Social Security. I have an $800 mortgage and a $230 car payment plus insurance, utilities, prescription copays and medical bills in addition to living expenses. I cannot work many jobs due to being on SS and I can't be on my feet for more than 10-15 minutes before the back pain becomes excruciating.

 

Before Covid, I had a great job at a local engineering firm and I was happy and healthy. I loved my job and the group I worked for and I had no money problems. I had a few credit cards with low limits that I managed well until I was laid off and unemployment ran out. I used to be very active and walked my 2 dogs every single day for nearly 2 miles, but now I can barely walk them around the block. I lost my appetite along with my job and I went from 125 lbs. to 95 lbs. within 3 months. I wasn't able to keep up the credit card payments when unemployment ran out so my credit score dropped drastically. I dread getting up in the morning and dealing with the pain and counting the days till I get my next SS check. The medical bills have piled up because I lost my health insurance when I was laid off and had to go over 7 months before I turned 65 and was eligible for Social Security. To make things worse, my car needs a brake job badly, but I don't have the funds now to have it fixed. I just signed up with UberEats but I can't drive my car more than absolutely necessary until I can get it fixed.

 

I'm single and have very little family. I miss my old life terribly. I used to be fun and happy and had a lot of friends! I have lost contact with most of them due to my pain and inability to get out and do things like I used to. Can you please just donate a few dollars to my cause so I can get a grip on my medical debt, get my car fixed and still be able to keep my utilities on and my dogs fed? They're tiny, so thankfully they don't eat much!  I totally understand if you can't donate, believe me!
