This GoFundMe is about sending me to South Carolina to help the Bernie Sanders team by canvassing and helping the Bernie team with anything they need
First things first I want to give a special shoutout to @Violet_midnite, @bourgeoisalien, and @Funanmisery. They are amazing and gave me the inspiration and courage to pursue this.
Also shoutout to @CindiPargressiv for organizing Housing for me. Please follow these amazing people
About me
I'm a 29 year old black guy from Kansas City and I live and breathe politics. My entire family always supported Democrats but I was disenfranchised by the system and gave up hope during the Obama era. For years I considered myself an independent and hated both parties and gave up on the electoral process
Then Bernie Sanders happened.
He lit a fire under my ass in a way that I have a hard time putting in words. I rigorously researched him about 3-4 weeks after his 2016 announcement sure I'd find something I hated.
Nope, not only did I find nothing but Bernie held a ton of crucial policy positions I believed in but never thought possible. He was an incredible leader who I immediately idolized. I couldn't believe I never knew this guy. He was and still is too good to be true. Long story short, I've been ride or die Bernie Sanders supporter since. I've been obsessed with helping Bernie win.
So this GoFundMe is simply about helping me take care of myself while I help Bernie Sanders in SC. This is the thread that started everything.

I am terrified about the unknown but I cannot sit on the sidelines and maintain my sanity
The reason why I had alot of success converting friends and family into supporting Sanders (mostly black) is why I will have alot of success in SC and The South. I can relate my experience as a black man and tie that to why progressive policy is the way forward.
Anyone who is aware of my Twitter account knows I'm well read on the issues and how class warfare has destroyed minority communities. I am particularly well read about Joe Biden and his terrible record. I will use this knowledge to win over working class voters of all backgrounds, but particularly black people.

Thank you all my Bernie family. I've been on Twitter for under a year and you have no idea how much you positively changed my life. I went from a random guy yelling into the void to having great progressive friends fighting their hardest to help Bernie win.
