Help Me Help My Only Sister Battle Inoperable Throat Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Michelle Rene Hammer and this is my very first ever GoFundMe. Thank you for bearing with me.

I'm writing this GoFundMe for my sister, Danielle, who is currently battling inoperable throat cancer.

While she is due to start treatment very soon, September 3rd, 2024 to be exact, we just found out her housing that was to be arranged through the Hope House, a non-profit, has fallen through.

She has to stay at a facility somewhere nearby for six straight weeks to do radiation and chemotherapy as the center is 4 hours from her home.

While there are area hotels etc. that have shuttles to the treatment facility, the cheapest one is $125 per night. Any of us can do the math and see that coupled with food and other essentials along with the already mounting medical expenses would be impossible for nearly any of us to bear.

So, God has placed it on my heart to start this GoFundMe to help provide her with the resources needed to treat her cancer without financial worry.

I know that the Bible says bear one another's burdens and thus fulfill the law of Christ.

I'm hoping together we can alleviate some of this financial burden for her and let her fight the battle unreservedly.
