HELP ME FEED & DRESS THE HOMELESS

Did you know that 1 in 200 Australians sleep on the street each and every night?
We often take things like a warm bed, a heater, clean clothes, clean water, a shower or brushing our teeth for granted. There are so many underprivileged men and women suffering who are not blessed with these basics.
It’s our time not only to give back but get involved. Its good for the heart & soul!!!
We have had some amazing donations by way of clothing, blankets, shoes, food etc but many of you asked if you could make a small cash donation so I have set up this page for that purpose.
I have organised a collaboration between Street Buffet
(https://www.facebook.com/streetbuffet/) this Sunday 27th August where my team and I will be dressing the homeless while this kind group of volunteers feeds between 100-150 men and women. They do this every Sunday in Woolloomooloo and we are excited to get involved.
Ontop of the amazing clothing, blanket and shoe donations (my brilliant clients and super generous friends at www.runningscience.com.au have donated a whopping 50 pairs of shoes) we have decided to do more and create take away food bags which will include that little bit extra…
Dr Mario (a.k.a the best dentist in town) & his team at Alpha Health Clinic (http://www.alphahealthclinic.com.au/) have donated a bulk lot of toothbrushes and toothpaste which we will include in these bags along with a few other personal hygiene basics. We will also include items like a tin of tuna, fresh fruit, muesli bars and other snacks to get them through another day on the streets.
This is what your generous cash donations will be used to fund.
Giving back is good for the soul so let's get too it people!!!
