Help McDaniels Recover from Harvey

Last week was one of the worst weeks of our friend's lives. The McDaniel's recently relocated to Houston for a new job.  After making it through Hurricane Matthew in Savannah with minimal damage, they decided to ride out Harvey in Houston.  On Sunday morning, however, water invaded their garage.  By 7:30am their living space was quickly taking on water and called for help.  The rescue boat that was supposed to be at the end of the street never made it.  So, they had to wade out in waist deep water with thier baby, Al,  strapped to Dan and their pets swimming alongside them. They all made it safely to a neighborhood shelter at a school where they spent the next 24 hours. Thankfully, some generous friends have taken them in for the time being. They have since been able to return to their home and have found all of their possessions, to include their cars, are not salvagable.  Since insurace payouts are likely going to take a long time, we have created this page to help get them back on their feet.  Please help us help them.
