Update number 2 : Matt is finally home and settling into his new life after the heart attack. He’s made some incredible changes, including completely quitting smoking and focusing on his health. He’s eating nutritious meals—thanks to Park Deli and a dear friend who’s been helping sponsor them.

Matt asked me to personally thank everyone who has donated or plans to donate. Your kindness and support mean the world to him. He’s deeply grateful and gives thanks to God for watching over him during this time. He truly feels like he’s been given a fresh start—a new beginning.

He’s slowly easing back into work, but only on a limited basis for now as he continues to recover.

Update : I’d like to share an update: Matthew is recovering well, though he still has a long road ahead. He’s resting and being comforted by family, friends, and, of course, his loyal furry companion, Marbles.

Incredibly, after 39 years, Matthew has also stopped smoking and is taking his recovery very seriously. We believe the Lord has much more planned for him here on Earth.

Support Matthew's Recovery After a Massive Heart Attack

Hi, my name is Eddy, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my close friend Matthew — a devoted small business owner and all-around great human being — who suffered a massive heart attack this week.

Matthew was in his home office when it happened. He had been working tirelessly, as he always does, trying to keep his business going despite mounting stress and financial strain. He suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered a 100% blockage in his right artery. Immediate surgery saved his life — but the road ahead is going to be long, and the financial burden is heavy.

Matthew is now recovering, but he’s unable to return to work, and his business is at risk without him. On top of that, his high-deductible insurance leaves him with major out-of-pocket medical costs. He needs our help — not just to recover physically, but to stay afloat financially.
