Help Matt & Michelle's Granddaughter Hope

Matt and Michelle's daughter, Elisabeth, gave birth on Friday, the 20th, to precious baby Hope.  Hope was not breathing, was given CPR and intubated, then airlifted to Rady's Children's Hospital.  She still remains in intensive care in critical condition. Doctors are working to get her seizures to subside and regenerate the cells in her brain from any damage.  They have had her sedated so that her organs will not have to work as hard. Doctors are waiting until Hope is more stable to do an MRI to assess her brain health.  It has been a tough road, but this sweet girl is a fighter!

Meanwhile, Mom, Elisabeth, and Dad, Jonathan Layna, have been staying in a hotel to be near their daughter 24/7.  To do so, neither one of them is working and the cost for their stay, as well as their portion of the medical care is mounting.
