On July 13th, 2025, flash flooding hit Newark Valley, NY. My co-worker Matt Cacialli and his family lost everything in their basement due to the flood. Things they lost include their furnace, washer, drier, freezer, couches, desks, tables and the entire floor needs to be replaced as the sub-flooring is water damaged and needs to be removed.
