Help Masala Kraft Cafe recover from Storm Ida

Hello everyone,

We are Jasu's daughters Bianca and Atisha.

If you have had the pleasure of meeting our mother, Jasu, or knowing her, you know she needs no introduction. A selfless, strong and incredibly happy human, which is why she would never ask and why we are here to ask for some help.

The rain from Ida completely destroyed the heart of Masala Kraft Cafe, the basement. The basement holds all inventory, fridges, freezers and essentially all of the restaurants equipment and food stock. Her inventory and unique equipment like her commercial Dosa maker were floating in 6 feet of water. Her and her small but mighty staff cleaned for 14 hours straight and 6 days later they are still cleaning up and trying to recover.

The amount of money in inventory, equipment, and repair work for water damage is going to take years for the business to recover. Our mother puts her heart and soul into her business, this business was not started for profit, Masala Kraft is truly her passion, she is genuinely fulfilled by making people smile and making tummy's full. She loves feeding her customers! It's hard work that she does gracefully day in and day out. In this industry, there are really no days off. One thing is for sure, she does loves it, she loves the community and loves serving her customers.

If you could help spare some funds to help her feed the Hartsdale and Westchester community again, we can reopen fully and help us stay open for years to come. Her customers are her driving force!

We are so appreciative for any amount you can donate at this time. It's not easy to ask for help but here we are, asking for support from our community, family and friends. Our mother adores her customers and the amazing support network that has encouraged her to keep going. All funds will be going directly to Jasu in helping get Masala Kraft back to business.
