What's up!! My name's Mark, and I'm about to take the biggest artistic leap of my career:
Next month, I'm bringing my solo show OUT THERE to Edinburgh Fringe for a 25-show run at Assembly Roxy, one of the festival's most prestigious venues. This is my fourth consecutive year bringing work to Edinburgh Fringe, and everything is in place to make this incredible: a prime venue, an ideal 5:20pm time slot, a top-tier PR team, and an incredible show that's already getting extraordinary reviews:
- The Hollywood Reporter called it "clever use of live video, hilarious audience participation, and a ton of vulnerability."
- Broadway World called it "a hysterical sendup of influencer culture, midlife crises, and trying to construct a legacy that says you were here."
- The Orlando Sentinel named it Best of Fringe 2026 at the Orlando Fringe Festival
- Hollywood Fringe gave it Best Comedic Theatre AND the Adelaide Fringe Tour-Ready Award.
My last show became a comedy special on Dropout thanks to buzz I generated at Edinburgh - and OUT THERE is already generating bigger buzz.
Here's where I'm at:
I've already independently raised $9,500 from lead patrons to cover lodging, travel, and venue fees. I need $5,000 more to fund the advertising campaign that turns a great show into a festival sensation.
For three years, I've been my own producer, publicist, and flyerer, often walking onstage exhausted from doing everything myself. This year, with your help, I can afford a publicist, put up posters across the city, and bring on an extra flyerer. That means I can focus my energy where it matters most: performing, connecting with industry, and creating the opportunities that turn one Fringe into a career-changing moment.
Your support makes OUT THERE one of the buzzy shows of the festival.
Why this moment matters:
Four years of work have led to this. Edinburgh is where independent artists crack through to an international audience. It's where careers turn. I've got the show, the venue, the PR, and the momentum. All that's left is the resources to run this campaign at full power.
