Hi everyone,
I’m writing this with a very heavy heart on behalf of our family. On November 18th, we suffered a devastating and unimaginable loss. Andrii Seriekov, a devoted husband, loving father, and the center of Marina and Vika’s world, passed away suddenly and without warning - one of those moments that stops life in its tracks and leaves everyone in standstill.
Andrii was only 39, and he was just beginning to build a new life here in the United States with Marina and Vika. His passing has left his wife and daughter not only heartbroken, but also facing an overwhelming amount of unexpected responsibilities and expenses that no family could ever be prepared for.
We are creating this fundraiser to help support Marina and Viktoriia during this heartbreaking and uncertain time. Funds will go directly toward:
- Funeral and memorial expenses
- Transporting Andrii back to Ukraine for final services
- Flights and travel arrangements for Marina, Vika, and immediate family
- Urgent legal, documentation, and immigration-related costs that may arise
- Household and living expenses as Marina adjusts to life as a single parent
- Medical bills that will now fall on Marina, Vika and family
- Support for Vika, who is now grieving the sudden loss of her father at such a young age
- Other unforeseen expenses that continue to arise due to the unexpected nature of his passing
Andrii was someone who always showed up for others - whether helping family, supporting friends, providing for loved ones, or delivering humanitarian aid during the ongoing war in Ukraine. He never asked for anything in return. Now, we are asking for help on behalf of the two people he loved more than anything.
