Hi everyone!
My name is Maricela Martinez, and I’ve proudly worked in nursing for years as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at a skilled nursing facility. Caring for others isn’t just my job — it’s my calling.
Now, I’m taking the next big step in my career and enrolling at Nightingale College this coming January 2026 to become a Registered Nurse (RN). This goal means everything to me — for my patients, my family, and for the community I serve every day.
⸻
❤️ Why I’m Asking for Help
While I continue to work and save, the cost of tuition, books, uniforms, and clinical expenses add up quickly. As a working mom of two and full-time nurse, I’m doing everything I can — but I could use a little help to bridge the gap and make this dream possible.
Your contribution will go directly toward:
• Tuition and class fees
• Nursing textbooks and supplies
• Uniforms, clinical equipment, and lab kits
• NCLEX preparation and study materials
Even the smallest donation helps more than you know — whether it’s $5 or $50, it’s an investment in a nurse who truly loves what she does.
⸻
My Mission
Nursing has taught me strength, compassion, and resilience. I’ve seen the difference one nurse can make — a hand to hold, a word of comfort, a life changed. Becoming an RN will allow me to do even more for my patients, lead by example for my team, and inspire my children to never stop reaching for their goals.
I want to continue showing others that it’s never too late to chase your dreams — even when you’re busy being a mom, leader, and caregiver all at once.
⸻
How You Can Support
• Donate what you can — every dollar helps me move closer to that RN badge.
• Share my story on your social media or with friends who love supporting nurses.
• Leave a note of encouragement — your words will keep me motivated through those late-night study sessions.

From My Heart
Thank you for believing in me and supporting this next chapter in my journey. I promise to pay it forward in every way I can — to my patients, my coworkers, and the next generation of nurses coming after me.
With gratitude,
Maricela Martinez, LVN
