Help Marcos "Squid E" Document and Help Ukraine

Greetings familia, friends whom have become family, and anyone reading these words. My name is Marcos “Squid E” Guerra from the great state of Texas.

I have a strong passion for helping our fellow brothers and sisters, and a love for writing and photography. I’d like to think of myself as a caring, compassionate person, and I found my passion for giving back to the less fortunate while living in Las Vegas for eight years; as I donated my time and efforts in feeding the homeless at the Las Vegas Catholic Worker, alongside some really wonderful individuals… Julia, Gary, and the rest of the LVCW family. Although, I am not extremely religious, yet I am a profoundly Spiritual person, and a true believer of righteousness and peace that exists inside us all.

Well, as of recently when the war broke out… I‘ve been having these strong urges and hearing a silent whisper telling me I have to go help and document what’s been going on in Ukraine. Everyday onwards, that feeling has only gotten more assertive, and that voice ever more demanding. Almost to the point of knowing what I have to do. So, with no signs of regret, I have answered that call, and I’m going to help out our brothers and sisters as much as I possibly can.

I have taken a leave of absence from my job, withdrew my meager savings I was going to use to start a Real Estate Photography business, purchased a ticket, and now I’m here doing my part to document and try to help humanity. I will help provide for, care for, share some stories through photography/videography, and console anyone who needs immediate assistance, particularly women and children. I might be flying as a single passenger, to a place I don’t recognize, with faces I won’t recall, but I know in my heart I will not be there alone. I believe in a loving God, and I feel this is my Reason for Being.

I have been very worried, anxious, and disgusted with the atrocities that have been occurring in Ukraine. Are you experiencing any of these emotions too? Therefore, I have decided to take action, and while everyone is not able to join me, I invite you to help this effort by helping me with a donation in any amount of Funds you can Contribute.

All of your Taxable Donations, Small or Ginormous, will go towards the Ukrainian Refugees, by means of water, food, heat, supplies, shelter, blankets, first-aid, and all-around necessities that they so desperately need, and will keep me going, my bills paid, and my mind at ease while living here. Since, I took a leave of absence from my job without pay. I plan on staying here up to before Christmas, as I live amongst the beautifully strong and courageously displaced Ukrainians.
