Help BAE BAE Replace Boiler Room Funds & Make Rent

Hey everyone!

It's my birthday (!) and I wanted to make a humble request of my community for support. I recently lost funds from turning down a Boiler Room gig. Along with many others, I have withdrawn my labor because of Boiler Room's acquisition by Superstruct which is owned by KKR, a firm whose portfolio includes companies involved in the occupation and selling of territory in the Palestinian West Bank and several significant investments in Israel, as well as the Coastal Gaslink Pipeline, and war weapons manufacturing.

I am looking for support to help make up the funds and a little more to cover rent this month and bills. Please only support if you have the resources to share. I know that times are hard for workers right now, and this capitalist laboratory of the U.S. is crumbling, leaving many increasingly vulnerable.

I'm in the process of completing my Phd and the job market is very bad. The Trump mandated university federal funding freeze and the ensuing university hiring freezes have made it challenging for me to find full-time teaching work. If you know of anywhere I might be a good fit to work as a dj (I'm playing vinyl now also), electronic music producer, organizer, teacher/professor, or any other kind of work, please let me know. My main source of income currently is a part-time adjunct professor at Cal Arts.
