Free cakes for kids Bradford is a movement of local volunteers and community groups who share a simple belief, every child deserves a birthday cake. Our cakes are baked for children who are not likely to receive one on their birthday. This could be due to financial struggles, a child been in care... and many many more reasons.
Our cakes are homemade and delicious, usually featuring the birthday child's favourite theme or style. We do this because we love to bake and are passionate about our communities. As volunteers with a passion for baking we dedicate our time and bake within our own home kitchens. Using our skills as bakers, neighbours and good citizens we battle hardship, build relations, encourage volunteering and create memories that last longer than a day.

We need your help to purchase our food safe cake boards, cake boxes, ingredients to bake and make our cakes taste delicious, fondant to decorate. £30 will buy everything we need to bake, decorate and transport our cake to the birthday child's home safety. Our referrals usually come to us with very short notice and helping us to fund our cakes will ensure each and every child will receive a cake on their birthday. We appreciate every bit of support we receive no matter how big or small and the children and the families of the children who receive our cakes are always so appreciative. The happiness we see in the children's faces makes all the hours we dedicate to make just one cake worth every second.
