Help Make Ivanna and Ramon's Dream Wedding Happen

My name is Karina Galvis, and I am the cousin of Ivanna Ramirez, a bride-to-be whose dream wedding has faced unforeseen circumstances.

Ivanna and her fiancé, Ramon Ramero, were set to be married on October 4th, 2024, until they received notice on September 5th, 2024, from their wedding planner that the venue they paid for, The Art Factory in Paterson, NJ, had filed for bankruptcy in August of 2024. This notice came as a shock as Ivanna and Ramon did not find out from the owners directly. When asked if their wedding was in jeopardy, they were assured by the owners that they would be hosting events until the year 2025. Now, less than 2 weeks before the wedding, they found out through an Instagram post that The Art Factory was in foreclosure and the doors were officially going to shut down. As of September 24th, 2024, the owners went to court and were ordered to stop hosting events at the venue immediately.

Ivanna and Ramon have been planning their wedding for almost 2 years now, spending $12,000 on the venue alone in January of 2023, not including the cost of catering or any other vendors. Since the owners have filed for bankruptcy, there is a chance Ivanna and Ramon may not get their money back. Now they are under immense pressure and stress to find another venue to host their wedding and pay even more money than they originally planned for with less than 2 weeks to the wedding date.
