Help Maha Fund Their Top Surgery!

Hi!!!!! My name is Maha Bellazzi (they/them), and I’m a trans masculine nonbinary person raising funds for my top surgery. This surgery is life-changing and essential for my quality of life, mental health and well-being. It’s a step I’ve been dreaming of for over four years, and now I’m closer than ever to making it a reality.

The total cost of the surgery after taxes is $7345. I have saved a significant amount, however, I would appreciate some help for the remainder of the surgery costs, and expenses during my recovery period. I am looking to schedule the surgery for end of February/early March 2025.

Being trans in a world that isn’t built for people like me has been a daily battle—one that affects my mental health, self-esteem, and how I navigate the world. It feels like I’m carrying a literal weight on my chest, one that holds me back from feeling free, confident, and whole. For the past nine and a half months, I’ve been on testosterone, and that experience has been amazing. It’s helped me in so many ways and has been such an important step in my journey. But top surgery has always been on my mind, and now feels like the right time to take that step.

Having this surgery would change my life in ways I can’t even begin to describe—it would improve my quality of life significantly and, for the first time, allow me to feel fully like me.

I’ll be unable to work after surgery for 4-6 weeks and will have no consistent income during my recovery period. The funds raised will cover the remaining surgery costs, aftercare, and expenses during my time off of work.
