Help Maeve Fight for Her Life

Meet Maeve. She needs your positive vibes and prayers, please. She’s a very sick kitty at just 2 years old. My heart is breaking. She’s my soul kitty. I took her to the vet Tuesday because she wasn’t eating much, and I was worried. Well, her bloodwork was terrible. Low red blood cells, high white blood cells. Kidney values were awful. The vet told me she needed an internal medicine doctor and an ultrasound. Possibly cancer, internal bleeding, etc. Took her right away to the specialist. Had the ultrasound. Found that her pancreas was inflamed. Sent us to a 24-hour hospital, which is where we’ve been since. Just got home tonight. They’re sending her blood off and probably won’t hear back till Monday or Tuesday. She received IV fluids, pain meds, and antibiotics. I will have to give her fluids subcutaneously, which terrifies me. Once we have the blood results, we’ll find out what to do next. I’m scared, y’all. I had no idea she was this sick. She still played, slept with me, purred when pet or held. Even the doctors said she seems perfectly normal. But she’s very sick. My sweet baby.

We are already over $6,000.00 for her care and haven’t even found out what’s going on. It’s humbling, humiliating to beg, but I’m desperate for my girl. If you can spare $1, $5, anything at all so that we can find out what’s going on. Why she’s sick. Thank you, my friends.
