Help Laxmi Shrestha Maa Paying Hospital Bills

Hello everyone,

My name is Nikita Shrestha, and I am reaching out for your support in a time of great need for my God Mother, Laxmi Shrestha (Maa).

Laxmi Shrestha (Maa) travelled from Nepal on a tourist visa to stay with me in Sydney, Australia, as there was no one to care for her back home. At 73 years old, she recently suffered an Ischaemic Stroke that has left her paralysed on the right side of her body since April 17, 2024. After initial care at Campbelltown Public Hospital, she was transferred to Camden Rehab Centre on April 25, 2024. She was hospitalised for almost 2 months when she was discharged on 27th May 2024 and hospital started her home rehab for 3 weeks.

This year has been particularly challenging for our family. Laxmi lost her brother, and I tragically lost my father on December 8, 2023. With no one else to look after her in Nepal, Laxmi had devoted her life to caring for our family, particularly my father, who lost his mother at a young age. In gratitude for her lifelong dedication, I brought Laxmi Maa to Australia to ensure she received the care she needs.

I had arranged health insurance for Laxmi through HCF hospital cover, but unfortunately, it only covers minimal benefits, leaving me responsible for a substantial amount of medical bills that I hadn't anticipated.

I humbly request your assistance through donations to help cover Laxmi Maa's hospital bills.
