Help Lyon Beckwith Change Lives Through Film

Hello My name is Lyon Beckwith, I am a Actor/Writer/Director from the gutter of Baltimore! I was able to change my stars of what the typical story statistically is being born and raised in the projects of Baltimore City. Sadly the same story both of my brothers fell victim to, a life of crime, abuse and drug use. Which more than likely started from my mother who was a prostitute and drug addict. Sadly both of my brothers are gone now, my oldest Lionel Curtis Beckwith losing his battle against AIDS and my 2nd brother to a overdose. I mention this because God allowed me to avoid these pitfalls and I am so Grateful! Now I go to Schools and Gatherings and even have my own events giving to the community where I speak to the kids and tell them my story of how I avoided the traps of the Hood though not unscathed but unwilling to become a usual ghetto statistic! Now I am trying to further and better my story and others by creating this feature film that I have written! By contributing to this Go Fund Me you will not only Help get the ball rolling on the making of this Film but Help me provide jobs to local actors and bring inner city youths to the movie set and show them there is more to life than drugs, gangs and crime! I want to show them the path I took or at least a path out of the Hood! This movie also has a positive message that will be spread upon completion! The struggles of 2 young MMA Fighters who tho share the same passion and goals in the Octagon fight entirely different demons and situations out of it! I assure you there is nothing like this movie not only in the DMV but The World! The Message in this movie has to be shared Now more than Ever! And I'm counting on You to Help me make that Happen!
