On July 31st Lori Valene had a massive stroke and was rushed to Harbor View in Seattle.  She lost all feeling and control of the right side of her body.  After her blood pressure was controlled and they considered her stable enough, they transferred her to UW Medical Center to begin her long road of physical therapy and rehab.

Being self employed, Lori doesn't currently have any income coming in while she can't work.  The bills keep coming due, and her 18 year old daughter Malaya, still needs to be able to buy what she needs.   And who knows what the medical bills will be.

They will also need to find a new rambler rental home, as the tri level they live in now will not work for Lori to return to.

Currently Malaya and Lucy the dog are staying with me (in Duvall), but Malaya will need a lot of help packing and moving out of their Kent house soon.

Lori is working hard at her PT and is starting to get very limited movement back to her right leg.  Please be praying she recovers fully!  She is at UW still and welcomes visitors.  Try calling or texting her cell, or reach out to me if you can't reach her.
