Help Local Service Industry Workers and Performers

NCF-PAH and our Outreach Team are evaluating ways we can help our members as well as those in our communities (including local performers and employees of local establishments) who are impacted by COVID-19 closures and lack of business in the North-Central Florida (Gainesville, Ocala, and Palatka), Tampa, and Orlando areas.  This is a tense time for all of us, some much more than others.

You give us so much love, acceptance, and places where we are safe to be who we are.  You don’t know how much that means to us. You are not alone going through this.

While other options are being considered, the first and foremost concern is paying bills such as rent, insurance, utilities, and car payments. 

As such:
*We will have weekly disbursements that will be distributed to those in need.  
*Any excess funds that aren’t needed at the end of the campaign will be donated to various local charities, including local food banks, the Humane Society of North-Central Florida, and the Humane Society of Marion County.
*A record will be kept of all funds and distributions (Identifying information of recipients will only be available to those who require it to maintain privacy of recipients).  We don’t expect to need to use it, but we want to provide as much transparency as possible while keeping recipients identities private.
*No one person will receive more than 20% of disbursements unless there is an extenuating circumstance.
