Help Lisa and her family make memories

We are attempting to raise money on behalf of the Hall family, with the aim of making Lisa's remaining time with us memorable and comfortable.
Before 2020 Lisa was a fit, healthy and hard-working mother and wife. In recent months her and her family's life has completely changed. In February 2020 Lisa was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Doctors attempted to remove the tumour, which was successful. The tumour was sent off for testing to evaluate the stage of the cancer. Unfortunately, these tests revealed that her cancer was extremely aggressive and at stage three.
Following these tests, Lisa was told that they had successfully removed all signs of cancer and this would be reviewed every three months. As she approached her first of her three moth check-ups they found small secondary tumours in her lungs. After many more assessments, Lisa was told her cancer was terminal but they could give her treatment to prolong her life. This treatment never began as her health deteriorated rapidly.
In November 2020 Lisa started losing sensation in the right side of her body. She was sent for tests to look for nerve damage, but these came back normal. However, this sensation progressively got worse, causing pain and discomfort primarily in her right leg. In March 2021, Lisa was admitted to hospital because of severe pain in her leg. Whilst in hospital, she was sent for more tests, including an MRI and brain scan. These scans revealed two small tumours in the brain and that it had spread to multiple parts of her body. At this point, doctors informed her that there was nothing more they could do, apart from providing palliative care to keep her as comfortable as possible. She was later discharged home to be with her family.
Whilst out with friends in April 2021, Lisa suffered a stroke and was rushed to hospital. This left her paralysed on her right side and unable to speak. Believed to have been caused by her brain tumours, Lisa was once again sent home to be with her family; whilst receiving the same palliative care. She has been provided with carers from Rowans Hospice who are able to care for her at home, with help from her family and friends.
The purpose of this page is to provide the family with financial support during an extremely difficult time. Lisa's husband will eventually have to give up work to look after her and their two young children, which will put a huge financial strain on them. As well as this, family members have collected funds to buy her a wheelchair to enable her to be more mobile and eventually be able to do more together as a family. This page will hopefully reduce worry and stress on the family when they should be enjoying life and spending time together. Please help by donating anything you can, even £1 will make a difference!
