When Lindsey Davis, a beautiful & vibrant young lady, and her mom went for Lindsey’s 16yr old checkup, they never imagined Lindsey would leave with a diagnosis of lymphoma. Lindsey’s pediatrician was quick to realize that the lump in her neck was not normal. Within hours they realized that Lindsey had a great deal of swollen lymph nodes on both sides of her neck as well as in other areas. In less than a week Arkansas Children’s Hospital has diagnosed Lindsey with Stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She is getting ready to undergo chemotherapy at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. The cost of the treatment and other associated expenses will be astronomical, especially for a single parent. My name is Tonya and I have known Lindsey and her mom, Alicia, for many, many years. As soon as I heard about Lindsey’s diagnosis I knew I wanted to help her and her precious family. Myself and a few more of Alicia & Lindsey’s friends & loved ones are raising money to help with the medical expenses associated with this diagnosis. Lindsey is a student at Ashdown High School and her mom, Alicia, is a teacher at the same school. These funds will help decrease the financial burden and allow Lindsey and her family to concentrate on fighting this horrible disease. They will have to travel to Little Rock each week to go to Childrens Hospital for treatment.
