Help Leticia Fight Kidney Disease & Keep Her Family Afloat

Hi my name is Leticia and I'm reaching out for help during one of the hardest & most heartbreaking times in my life.

In April of 2024 I was diagnosed with stage four kidney disease & has progressed to end-stage kidney disease since February of 2025. Since being diagnosed, my life has been a constant battle to survive physically & emotionally. Each day brings new challenges, but I refuse to give up.

Now, I need help to keep going. I have had to rely on my mom a lot for help financially & it's taking a burden on me.

My Life Turned Upside Down

For years I have worked hard to support myself & have tried continuing to do that while going through this. I used to be able to work full time & survive but I can't anymore.

The last few months have been a struggle as I have been focusing on surviving physically. I have returned to work but it's not enough to get by. I am trying to get qualified for disability to help me but that will be a small amount if & when it gets approved. I've tried finding a job where I can get consistent hours, better pay & will work around my dialysis treatments & medical appointments. So far I haven't had any luck. I refuse to let my circumstances break me.

I get just over $400 a month from work & that hardly covers my bills & I am the sole provider for my husband & myself.

Why I'm Asking for Help

Everyday is a fight - not just for survival but for the chance to live a full, healthy life again. I want to work as much as I can to provide for my family & to have a future beyond just struggling to make it through each month.

I'm a Fighter But I Need Support

I am not someone who gives up. Even in the face of hardship, I have been trying everything I can to earn an income. Right now I don't have months - I need immediate help just to keep going.
