Laikyn is an energetic, kind-hearted, and deeply loved 8-year-old girl whose life changed overnight. What began as a normal doctor’s visit turned into a heartbreaking diagnosis — leukemia. Within just a few days, her parents went from school drop-offs and bedtime routines to emergency hospital stays and conversations no family should ever have to face.

Laikyn’s parents were told on a Thursday night that their daughter has cancer. Since then, they’ve been navigating an overwhelming schedule of tests, treatments, and waiting for answers — all while trying to stay strong for Laikyn and her siblings.
