We are adopting! We began the process of adopting about a year ago, knowing that it would likely take up to 3 years to be matched with a birth mama and have a baby.
Well....just about a year into the process, we have been matched with a birth mama! We are so excited to watch this journey unfold!
However - adoption is expensive. We have done a little fundraising before now -- but slowed our fundraising down until we were selected by a birth mom. Now that we have been selected, we are fundraising again. We would be so very grateful if you would help us make this adoption a reality!
We are adopting a newborn, domestically. Some people have asked us why adoption is so expensive...a quick glance at that answer is legal fees, medical care, and other needs.
