Help Kris and Family Rebuild Their Lives

Hi,I'm Kris, Dad, Babe. January of '24, I came down with Covid, found heart failure, kidney failure, died, just under 5 minutes, broke my sternum, 21 days on life support, still can't talk right a year and a half later, Left radial nerve palsy, no use of left hand. 4, " mini" strokes. My nurse came to me later, "Bro, I called your wife and kids to come say goodbye, and somehow, you pulled through."

Kristopher Kusack, 48 now, in reality, 1 and a half. Woke from a coma, lost 50 pounds,spent 3 months learning to walk, therapy to use my arm and hand again.

I am unable to work, I was a fabricator, made signs. Freaking loved it! Been there a couple of times to fix the machines. Miss my co- workers.

We are down to living in s 25 ft trailer, me, my wife, and my 2 younger boys. We are keeping our little family together.

Swallowing my pride, and asking for help. I'll answer questions, just hoping good peeps could help out. My wife is a traumatic brain injury survivor, and my middle boy is on the autism spectrum. And, my doctor won't let me work. But my family is together.

Edit/addition. In 2020, my wife fell down and hit the back of her head on the concrete floor. A couple of emergency brain surgeries later, and she was alive but suffered from grang maul seizures memory loss for a year and a half before finding the proper epilepsy meds. Then my wife was back.
