Kim, my friend and co-worker, recently experienced a tragedy that no one should ever have to face. She and her two young sons had just moved into a new home, excited for a fresh start, when a sudden house fire turned their world upside down. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was lost to the flames. Because they had only just moved in, there was no time to get renters insurance, leaving them with nothing to fall back on after the disaster.

Kim is a devoted mother who always puts her boys first. Now, with the holidays approaching, she is struggling to provide even the basics for her family. The boys lost all of their clothes, toys, and cherished belongings, and Kim is doing everything she can to keep their spirits up. The funds raised will help Kim and her sons replace essential items, secure temporary housing, and begin the long process of rebuilding their lives.
